Why does Baby walk all over the yard to find the perfect spot to go poop? It takes her forever! Doesn't she know that all the spots are the same? Then...you know what she did to me today?!

I took her outside, she peed and pooped. We came inside, and not 5 minutes later, she pooped on my rug. Why do they do that?

I don't know but it drives me nuts, too!! I'll put them in the dog run and close the doggie door so they have to stay outside, and they'll come inside and poop!!!

Last week after getting a haircut and spending an hour in the park Dublin came inside and promptly pooped behind the table in the kitchen!! URRRRGGGGHHHH!!!

My hubby says that's why God made them so cute....

Aint that the truth! My Bf and I were just talking about this.. and once Bailey finds his spot,in the entire yard, he then will spin around, butt to the ground, in circle, finding just the right landing area..

.. it's so funny.

No kidding! That's funny, Thankfully Bailey has outgrown that,, stage, but I remember it well, come in from outside and he'd run to an alone spot!

Landing area...that's funny! And it's the truth! Thank God most of the time her poop is hard, because it's easier to pick up poop than soak up pee. I'd rather not have either, but if I had to choose, I'd guess it'd be poop on the rug inside.

Actually his full quote is "God made them so cute so I won't drop kick them off the deck!" But don't hate. He's just kidding. He's the biggest mush when it comes to these kids...

Oh, I know what I forgot to write...I always know when she's done poop or pee on the rug, because she always makes this noise with her feet like she is covering it so I don't see it. You know, like what cats do in the litter box? So as soon as I hear her do that, I jump up and say, "What did you do!?!" She knows she did wrong, so why do they do it?

bunjee will pretty much circle the potty pad for pee, but for poo, he'd roam the entire area before settling on the potty pad to poo. sometimes he'll change his mind, start the "pee squat" but stop, get up, and do the "poo stance".

he has a bad bad habit of eating poo. yuck! so i have to watch him carefully. sometimes i see him right after he finishes poo'ing and he goes back to sniff the poo, but when he sees me round the corner, he'll jump back and leave the poo alone... with a face like... no mommy, i wasn't trying to eat the poo at all...see, i'm stepping away from the poo...

Ha, I always knew when Bailey had gone somewhere, cause he would tear out, full blast of whatever room he just did it in.. As if " I Didn't do Whatever you may find in that room.

HAHAHAHAHAHA This thread made me laugh

Simon does the same thing only inside. There are 2 potty pads, one behind a divider screen in the living room and another in the bedroom and he runs betweent he two of them trying to decide where to go!!!!! He always picks the one in the bedroom, they are so silly

Of course, don't you know Baby and Bailey (& the others) are thinking "What is wrong with these humans? Can't they smell? Don't they know they are pooping in the same place over and over? Disgusting! Why don't they just take their time, use their noses and find a fresh spot?".

I know what you mean about walking around finding the perfect spot. Like who cares where you go out there as long as you go.
