Did I understand the reason you can't do the weekend is so that you can meet with the vet? Since its so far away and it won't be your permanent vet, why do you have to do that? Maybe your breeder would forgo that step or let you make a conference call if she knew it was creating a hardship for you. Can't hurt to ask... |
I'm keeping my eyes open... I don't have a MIL, yet. But, I can understand your frustrations and anger. MY paternal grandmother used to all those mean things to my mom too. My mom hid it from me until recently. Things my gm did would just shock you. When my mom was pregnent with me, gm made her get on her knees and scrubbed the kitchen floor!! She even told her to use soap and scrub it hard. Few days later, I was born. My mom should have been in bed, resting!! That wasn't the worst thing. My dad is a diebetic and needs daily injections to help process any "sugar" he consumes. Well, my gm blamed that on my mother even though she was the one that caused it (long story). Til this day, I can't believe my gm is such horrible person! My mom tells me to be VERY careful when choosing a mate. You're not only spending your life with that personal, you're going to be spending with their family as well. So true. |

But they could just not do the vet and go to the breeders home. |
:thumbdown I have a mother like that.Cathy and Yoshi |
 Children should never feel like they are unwanted or ignored b/c the gm has a problem with her child or sil.My children ask me why Granny does not want any thing to do with us and I have to say it is just the way she feels about life in general and that is she is happiest alone especially since my Dad passed a year ago. Hard for any child to comprehend the complexities of some people. There are those that do not have a clue as to what they are missing in life and the sad part is they just dont get it.Cathy and Yoshi |
