| A couple questions .... Ok, I know everyone has seen the threads about the NC meetup next weekend. Well I'm planning on going with my Lucy.... Here's the question - Do yorkies go into heat right at six months???? I just looked at my calendar and realized next tuesday Lucy will be six months.... (from what I understand from another thread that I read that it's not smart to take a female into heat to dog parks b/c of males) So I hope they don't come into heat right at six months... that would be really crappy b/c I want to go so bad..... OK my second question is how do you know when a female comes into heat???? I know this is bad but, I do have a male miniature schnauzer (male) and He was supposed to get fixed this week b/4 Lucy comes into heat but my finances are stretched so I had to reschedule the appt. to wait a couple weeks.... They are never left alone though, so I know I don't have to worrk about him getting her pregnant. But I would like to know how to tell when she comes into heat so I keep an even better eye on them... Thanx everyone..... Crystal

| Not all of them are six months, Princess was close to nine. They go in to heat twice a year, so about every six months. Hope you have a great time at the meetup!!!
