| http://www.vetsurgerycentral.com/pss.htm http://www.malteseonly.com/shunt.html http://www.vet.utk.edu/clinical/sacs/shunt/faq.shtml Here's a few links with helpful information on liver shunts. Hope everything turns out okay. University of TN does a lot of work with liver shunt dogs. Doctor Tobias is very well respected for her work with shunt dogs. The surgery has an excellent success rate. Also there is a Yahoo forum with a nice Liver Shunt support group... you might want to look to them for advise. Best Wishes, Kara |
