CONGRATULATIONS !! on the new addition to your family !! A new baby name will come to you soon I'm sure while you watch him play. Sounds like a lot of fun going on in your house! Good luck with all of them.

Congrats!! I think the two breeds should go together well! Do tell us more about them. Did you intend to get a Chi when you got your yorkie? Just wondered if it was planned or could you just not resist getting another? (How well I understand that feeling!) They can grow up together now and I'm sure your yorkie will soon get used to the little Chi!! Regarding a name, what is your Yorkie called? A name that goes together well might be an idea, maybe starting with the same letter etc? Sorry I can't help more than that but I'm sure also that a name will soon come to you as you watch them play!! I'm getting a pup too in 3 weeks so would love to hear more details LOL. Ana xx

Con grats Shannon Yorkies and Chihuahuas go together well...Harley will learn to love him.....Send us some pictures....Sorry there are non of Max to show you but i don't have a clue how to use our digital camera (still in the box ) I saw a yorkie and chi on the beach in Galveston a few weeks ago...there owner had them together in a dual harness. (They were hooked together so that neither one could stray...kind of looked like tiny tiny tiny horse harnesses. ) Max's Mom

Harley and Davidson? Dave for short? Okay....GRRRROOOOOAAAANNNNNN...... Anyway, my son has a 1 year old tiny long haired Chihuahua names Princess, and she and Higgins, my Yorkie, are absolutely BEST PALS! They just LOVE being together. My son is getting married September 11th and then going on a 10-day cruise and WE get to babysit for Princess! It is going to be such a treat for both dogs and for us! Congratulations on your new puppy! Chihuahuas are great!

Ooh, you're in for lots of trouble soon Higgin's Mom! When Princess and Higgins get together, do they play REALLY HARD with each other, to the point of exhaustion? Then nap together? Yoda was playing with a poodle a few weeks ago, and they ran around the house playing for hours! Needless to say, they were rather tired afterwards and they each gulped up trayfulls of water.

Yup. They play sooooo hard! But they sure sleep well at night! My son lives about 90 minutes away so we don't see them often. However, when they ask Princess if she wants to go see Higgins, she gets all excited and goes to the door, then runs to the car. When they finally turn down our dirt road, Princess goes WILD wanting to get out and run to find Higgins. And he, of course, is just as wild and wiggly to see her! It is soooooo cute! I'm just afraid that they are going to get so used to having each other to play with that they are going to be mightly sad when the honeymoon is over and they must part.......
