| Want Shall I Do? Amy was spayed last thursday, and ever since she is not been herself. I know it takes a couple of days to get over it,but she is still very miserable. All she is doing is laying in her bed,not showing any signs of wanting to do anything. I know its only 4 days since she had it done ,but should she be showing signs of improvement? She was eating at first when she came home, but last night and this morning she won't touch her food How long does it take for them to get over this?or do i need to speak to my vet? Or am i just worrying over her to much? Thank you. |

| Better To Be Safe Than Sorry... I always Say. Maybe you can give your vet a call. At this stage, I think she should be eating.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Each puppy is different. Cali was spayed 2 weeks ago today and I got her back on the Wednesday, they kept her longer because she was throwing up, and for the next 3-4 days she slept nearly all the time and Ihad to coax her to eat anything. In the past few days she is back to her normal self, fighting with my other dog and playing a lot. They say they should be quiet for 2 weeks so maybe she is just following the doctores orders. DOes her incision look OK? I would call your vet to ease your mind. She will be back to her old self soon.

| Every pup is different, but i think you should contact your vet to be safe. Since she doesn't want to eat I think you should give her some nutrical. I will have her in my prayers for her to start feeling better soon. Please keep us posted. |

| Poor baby! It wouldn't hurt to call the vet, but I'm sure she is just fine! Some dogs, like people, react differently to anethesia. But not eating isn't good, so just to be safe, I'd give a call to to the vet. Hope she is bouncing off the walls soon!
