Didn't read this entire thread, but here's a pic of my Edith on her uncle's Harley.... :D

We rode from Florence up some backroads into Tennessee and ended up in Lawrenceburg - lots of Amish there...really nice town. Then down some more back roads home. It was about a 150 mile round trip and I felt like I had been beat up...LOL I think it was because it was so cold I tensed every muscle in my body and just could not relax them! I can't wait to take some more rides when it is warmer...don't know about all those curvy roads tho...LOL We always say "snake in the road" when we see a curvy road sign...just some old humor around here... :D

What a dude! Love his outfit! and such fun to take him on a bike ride.

So sorry Glad! THAT is ONE trip I WON'T be making with you...no way in...well, you know!!! I looked at those pics :eek: ...I think those big trucks ought not even be allowed on that stretch of road...I bet a lot of folks really do get hurt up there! That scared me and I was not even there!!! There was even a pic where a big truck ran over a Miata...did you see that??

Come on, it's a thrill!! Not really, it scares me to think about the dangers, too, BUT... I think that if they have 20 pictures of naughty trucks, there's probably 2000 that never had problems. I know that we can be careful. I hope that they can!

On a positive note, Gatlinburg TN is a little over 4 hours from us! We would love to meet you sometime on a ride, and it would be great to spend the night there. Have you done that? Is there a pup-friendly place to stay?

It would be a BLAST!! Hope we can do it! We need to plan a date!!

We always stay at the Holiday Inn in Pigeon Forge and they are pet friendly...Oscar has run up and down their halls several times!!! We will definitely work toward setting a date maybe for this summer or fall...it would be a ton of fun!!! It is like a 6 hour drive for us...but we love to make it anyway! We always drive the truck up there but a bike ride there and back might not be so bad. Or we might trailer the bike...who knows! Dewaine fell off of a roof in December and shattered his left wrist. So the clutch was a nightmare and he has very little grip in his left (clutch lever) hand. But he had a clutch reducer installed and it is much easier but after the ride Sunday, he said he did not think he could squeeze that lever one more time that day! Hopefully he will continue to get stronger and a long ride will not be a problem...either way, we can ride or tow the bike there...short rides are not too hard on him. I am glad he is able to ride at all!

By the way, I guess you see that Oscar made his choice!!! :D

That is too funny!! I can just see Oscar trotting up and down the hall now!!

OH MY!! Wosie is in bed, so I will have to tell her in the morning that Oscar wants to be her Cyber-Boyfriend!! How cool!! She will be thrilled, I am sure!! I am ordering her doggles tomorrow, and as soon as they come in, I will get a picture and send to you! For now, here's one for Oscar to drool on!

How sweet she is...Oscar is gonna love her!!! Even More!!! He is already asleep too...I have three blankets folded on the couch and he crawled up on top of them and crashed...looks like "Princess And The Pea" or something! LOL We just can't wait to see her with her Doggles! And to think, someday they might get to ride together...that is just too cool!!! We might just rock Yorkie Talk with those pics!!! :D
