Help please..... Well, I asked this the other day and didn't get any information so I'll try again. I know it's not good to get the rabies shot combined with their other shots when they're little because it can cause a lot of pain and bad reactions. But, now that Jo is over a year old and he's ready for his boosters and 3 year rabies is it o.k. to get them all at once? I'll gladly take him in 2 seperate times if need be but I need to know because his appointment is at 10:00 in the morning.

Do not get rabies shots combined with other shots. It is not just when they are little that they can have reactions. My dog was 3 yrs old when she had her first reaction. The reaction almost killed our dog. She had received all the recommended vaccinations before that and never had a reaction. It is not worth the risk. Ask your vet to vaccinate 2 weeks apart.

| We recommend rabies to be given at 6 months, but not in conjunction with other vaccines. and NO LEPTO...ever

Thank you Rhanna and sylvan...I'll make 2 appointments for Jo. I've heard not to give the Lepto shot but I don't know why. Can you clue me in? Is that a required by law shot or just one that's thrown into the mix?

It is best that you do 2 different appointments, and I am glad that is what you have decided.
