Please pray for Tucker, I can't go through this again OMG, you guys I'm so upset. Kenny took Tucker to the vet.He had what we thought was a tick on his neck but he wouldn't let us near him, so he went to the vet to have it removed. It turns out it wasn't a tick, he has a TUMOR on his neck. The vet aspirated it and it bled and bled. Tucker went crazy, trying to bite and spitting and yelling. He took a biopsy and he's sending it out. He has to go back next Sunday for surgery to remove it. (Our vet is Jewish and is open on Sunday instead of Saturday). I am so scared. Kenny told him how we lost Bandit and how we just can't go through this again. He said not to panic, and not to worry. He also said that 9 out of 10 times these things are benign. 9 out of 10....all I can think about is that someone has to be that 1. I'm trying to remain calm, but it isn't working. I CAN NOT lose him. I just can't. Please say a prayer for our baby. |

Thanks everyone! As my hubby was telling us what the vet said, all I could think of is getting on YT, Megan too! She said Post this, mom. I appreciate the positive thoughts and prayers. I'm so scared. This will be the longest week of my life! |

Oh, my, I just saw this thread! I'm so sorry you're having to wait and worry!!!! Best wishes for a positive outcome!!!!! Just a thought: My bulldog had a lump on her back, in between her shoulder blades. The vet said it was suspicious, was watching it for changes and said biopsy would be the next step. My first thought was that she was too young to have cancer and there must be a simple solution. It also happened to be in the place I applied her flea/tick preventative -- I was using Frontline Plus. As an experiment, I switched to K-9 Advantix and the lump went away!!!!!!! It was an allergic reaction to Frontline. I hope Tucker's fix is that simple, too!!!!!!!!! Julie |

This YT family is the best! Thank you for all of your good wishes. Trying to think positive thoughts. Like, since the surgery is on his neck maybe they could "turn down" his bark. (Kidding I am kidding) I will say after the aperation today he is his usual hyper, loud self, so that may say something! Of course when he was nuetered, the same night he was jumping up and down off the couch and chasing the cat! We do appreciate the prayers. Now if we could just fast forward this week, we would be better! |
