Yep, and she's hating her new "job", doesn't care for the commute either (it's 3 miles, btw....3 miles of screaming puppy in a crate :eek: ) And the cold rain isn't helping with potty training any....but she is curled up in my lap :)

Well, tell her that we all hate that commute! I don't imagine you are getting much done with her in your lap. Well, much work done anyway. As for puppy loving, there is plenty of that going on.

Don't even entertain negative thoughts, Teri and Megan. He is going to be just fine and fit as a fiddle for his birthday. I refuse to think otherwise. All my hugs and positive thoughts are going you way.


So that's what I have on my butt!! All this time I thought it was from eating, drinking and being merry!! :p

Tucker has been acting like a real nut today. He is in the window barking at the world. He is driving Rusty crazy jumping in his face, tearing around the house, standing in one place staring at me. I swear he knows I'm worried and he's trying to take my mind off of it! He doesn't know it's HIM I'm so worried about. I just love this guy, he makes my world so much brighter!

Poor Tucker. :( I hope everything will be okay. :) BTW, where do you take Tucker to the vet?

He goes to the Highland Animal Clinic in Highland Park. This doc is a doll. I really like him. And the fact that he is open on Sunday is a bonus!

I wish the best for you Teri, and Megan. The wait is miserable, I know. I will say a prayer for Tucker, and keep you in my thoughts. Stay strong, and think good thoughts......

Ok, the vet said that there were no cancer cells in the fluid he removed from Tucker's tumor!!!!! Yeah! So, even if it is cancer, it means that it is very early. The tumor itself is so small and then to have the fluid come back clean is a very, very good sign! I'm feeling much better about this. Of course, we still have to get through the surgery on Monday. And, wouldn't you just KNOW it! I have to go to Baltimore for work Sun-Wed. I am so not happy. It is something I can not get out of. Of course hubby and Megan will take good care of him, but I'll be a wreck. I won't do much at the manager's meeting. And I'll be leaving my cell phone on....I don't care what anyone thinks. Kenny promised to call me the minute he hears anything, so it stays on. I feel like such a BAD mommy, (or Grandma, as Megan calls me), leaving him when he is going for surgery....grumble, complain, grumble. We also decided to have him microchipped while he is there. I have been wanting to do it anyway, and since he'll be asleep he won't know about it. Oh brother, I wish Monday was over!!!!

Thanks everyone for your prayers and good thoughts. I will let you know the minute I hear anything on Monday.

But seriously, that sounds like GREAT news. I would think removing a lump is no big deal, so don't panic. Just lock Megan in her room all week to tend to Tucker. Maybe get someone to slide some food under the door occasionally.
