I think it actually premiered on Bravo Cnannel Wednesday night but I caught a repeat last night at 10pm. I think it's on on Wednesdays. I thought it was pretty bizarre too. I live real close to the Del Mar Horse Park where the show was that the woman and her son with the Austrialian Shepherds went. That made it fun. I volunteered for last spring for a charity dog show benefitting Make a Wish Foundation at that venue. I t was called Wags for Wishes and I worked in the Frisbee Competition area but I got to witness the other events like agility, flyball, and course running as well as sheep herding. It was really fun. I thought the lady with the performance dog was cool! The rest were strange. The breeding scenes with the German Shepherds I couldn't even watch. I am looking forward to the next episode except they kept showing the previews where that dog hurts his paw and that made me cringe!! |
It was interesting. People can get pretty strange with their pets. I thought the guy crying because his dog was yelping with the trainer was a bit much. I do agree they should find a different trainer though. Still it's much better to see people spoiling their pets than abusing them. I like the show Animal Cops but it makes me sad. |

i watched it too......... i cant wait for the next episode.... the guy crying because of the terrier getting trained was a little over teh top (next episdoe the two guys are supposed to have a HUGE blowout fight :D ). . . i felt a little sorry for the kid though :( his mom was VERY controlling (and him not winning and being so upset like that was obviously not the most correct behavior) |
I watched and can't wait for the next episode. It's good to see other dog owners that love there dogs as much as we do. The mom of the German shepherds made me cry when she talked about how much her dogs mean to her. I could have done with out the breeding part too...............Cindy |
show I am always a day later and dollar short. Dozens of times I have seen soemthing at a dog show wished it was on TV...no one would believe it. I could be rich if I had thought of a reality show. I saw a poodles top knot fall off once..it had a fake hair piece clipped on, a no-no. The weirdest was a fight between two big dogs, they were locked at each others throats. No one could part them..the judge walked over and stuck her thumb up ones rectum and it let go..I realize this is more information then most want to hear..sorry. BUT it worked. |

Dang! I don't get that channel! I get ABC and CBS, not animal planet either! Small towns sometimes are icky! Of course, I could get sattelite TV, but can't afford it. Maybe someday, I will get re-runs of the show! Pat |
I watched it thought it was great. :) but I readlly didn't like how the mom was mean to the son just because he was having trouble out there. Love the 2 guys they were abit crazy ;) I can't wait to see the next one even hubby liked it. :thumbup: |
I watched that show last night. And I was thinking I was the only one. Go figure. That was funny to me how that guy was crying? Do you see how much they spend on training a year. 10,000. That is a lot. |

I hope i can watch that show too. I have Satellite , but not sure if i have the channel. I am a reality tv junkie. So, i know i will like this!!! I try to watch as many animal shows as i can. I finally got to see the westminster dog show last weekend, But only got part 2 of it!!! Oh well, i will keep my eye open for this one. |
We caught the show yesterday afternoon on BravoE ... I thought it was hysterically funny! I felt sooo sorry for little Adam, the Jr. Handler, when his Mom scolded him!! It should all be fun at that age and more serious when they are older! He won't be perfect all the time ... he's a child!!! If my son needed scolding I always told him, "We will discuss this when we get home" ... and as a man that's one of the things he remembers from childhood that he was so thankful for! At least I did ONE thing right!! :rolleyes: I am looking forward to the next Show! I told Patrick he better never criticize what I spend on Toto again!! It could be a LOT worse!!! :) Just looked through our cable TV schedule catalog for this month ... new episodes air on Wednesdays at 8PM here is GJ, Colorado on BravoE with reruns periodically throughout the week/weekend. We have Bresnan Cable ... I miss our great satellite system that we have at home with my DVR that I can just set and it will automatically record anything that I am too busy to watch!! :( But, since they will be showing the rerun often at least I can catch the ones I miss!! |

New episode was on last nite but I only caught the last 10 minutes, you still don't find out how the weimeriner (sp?) comes out until next week. But the gay guys are hilarious!! I have friends that are gay and they are exactly like that with their dogs! They would call the cops too! It's so funny! Hope nobody's offended by that! |
They argue so much. I keep wondering what they are going to do if they decide to break up. They both own them. I thought the Basset Hound at the competition was adorable. |

show I agree with you..the mother should have let the little boy show off his own dog..and poor Chalcy really cut her foot bad. In the segment where the dog bit the guy on the leg..the owner was strange to say the least! LOL...plus one of people in the obedience class was on, "That's My Baby"..her Border Collie gave birth. |
I forgot about the dog biting. He's had a vasectomy. You know, so if he makes love he can't have babies. ROFL I'm not making fun of her. English seemed to be her second language. I just thought it was a hysterical way of putting it. |
show LOL It was so funny...how did that Animal control guy keep a straight face? It looked like in the next episode, the gay guys dog bites the judge. Do you know what kind of terrier it is..Rat, Fox?? For years I have told my friends how entertaining it is to go to dog shows, they think I make this stuff up..LOL |
