I just caught the end of "The Today Show" and this lady was on there with her 2 yorkies, Jazzy Jr and Cindy, I guess she wrote a book called " A Dogs Life" but she had lost her husband and needed that comfort so she got a Yorkie and after having her she took her to a kennel for the first time and went to pick her up and she was dead. She was just devastated about this, not really sure how the baby died, but the woman had a law made called the jazzy law, but now she has the other 2 yorkies and Katie asked her if she would ever take them to a Kennel again and the lady said NO WAY! She said she has a nanny for the 2 yorkies !!!!!

I saw it and read her (Cindy Adams) first book, The Gift of Jazzy. It was good.
Did you hear Katie say she has a Yorkie at home named Archie.

I saw it too...After Cindy lost her husband, Joan Rivers bought her a Yorkie..Cindy named it Jazzy. She wrote a book about Jazzy also.
Cindy has gone "Yorkie insane"..a common condition...I hope I am never cured!! LOL
Of course, she will get alot of critizm for spending so much money on DOGS, but that is her money and her business.

Ok I had the names mixed up, Cindy is the lady and Jazzy was the Yorkie, what was the other Yorkies name?

Oh shoot - I always miss them on tv!! Does anyone watch Seventh Heaven? The new ones where Lucy is married and in her new house she has a Yorkie named Delilah! :D

I think she named her 2nd yorkie Jazzy also .......and her first Jazzy who inspired the book was killed by food poisening fed to her by the woman who she trusted to care for her....

I don't follow Celebs...and don't quote me on what I just said :) but I do remember hearing about the death of her 1st Jazzy and it really was sad.

The BOOK is titled 'The Gift of Jazzy'

I don't even HAVE my Yorkie yet...and I'm "yorkie insane". I know a woman who recently said to me she thought the price of the little toy dogs outrageous...and I'm looking at her...and she's wearing Joan and David shoes and has a purse hanging on her that she must have dropped $750 on! :rolleyes:

Give me a loving little furbaby....I'll wear Payless shoes! :D

Jazzy was the first Yorkie that died, then she had 2 Yorkies on her lap, the one was Jazzy jr, but not sure what the other ones name was!

Juicy is the other Yorkies name, and the book is called "Living a Dogs Life" I will have to look for that, would love to read her story.

YES! that's it,( did a search didn't ya) lol
You should read her first book too, it is good, explains how BAD Jazzy was when he was a pup, she was about ready to give up, it's funny.

I don't give up till I find what I'm looking for, Kloey is prime example of that! LOL I will def look for her books, I love to read and what better to read about then are furkids!

LOL...Her yorkies are SO CUTE ! Juicy is the Female and Jazzy is the male....and her first book is titled THE GIFT OF JAZZY about her very 1st yorkie....and whoever said she did pick him up from the kennel dead was correct....I had heard food poisening...but she says she doesn't know what happened....

WELL !!! I think they were real!!!!! C'mon, the babies has there own NANNY !!!! OMG!!!!!! Juicy? I just love that name! I wish I had a couple more Yorkies!!!! I will be looking for her books!

LOL !! I should ...she has her own website.....I can't believe someone who loves animals the way she seems to would be dressing them in REAL fur coats made from skinned alive animals. THAT is not setting a good example...Anyone who is an animal lover would NEVER wear REAL fur when there are so many REAL LOOKING Faux Fur coats out there

Not a fanatic, just an animal lover! I feel that way sometimes, people give me that " oh, here she goes again"..Look But ya know what... Screw em,. everyone should know. AWARENESS AWARENESS AWARENESS, time to dig that thread out,, again...

And I'm po'ed with Miss Cindy Adams and considered getting her new book,, since I read the first one,, but now I'm not so sure... HMMM :(

My almost 13 year old granddaughter is their nanny. And when we have to be gone, her dad helps her. Fortunately, they only live 2 blocks away. Oh the stories I could tell from the phone calls, "NANA, YOU WON'T GUESS WHAT THEY GOT INTO TODAY?" :)

I have to tell you, I read her first book and was not impressed IMHO. It does not surprise me that she puts real fur on her dogs. It is all about her :(

There were parts I skimmed over,, the ones abt her! ha. I would SPEED read/ skip those parts till it got to the dog parts, it was funny cause some of the things she was dealing with, were things I was dealing with too, at the time,, Peeing, pooping, tearing up things...
PS~ I got my book on ebay, so I only paid a few bucks for it,,not full price,,lol :rolleyes:

Villette..is it okay to use recycled fur? I used to buy old mink coats at the thrift store and make my Yorkies beds and capes out of them.
V...My Yorkies say minks are nasty little rodents and deserve to be made into beds and coats! LOL

That's COOL ! Maybe your grandaughter can slip Miss Cindy some facts about how FUR COATS are made..... :( Someone that rich can afford the best Fakes out there and no one would ever know the difference.....If Cindy Adams really loved animals she would never be flaunting REAL fur coats on her yorkies.
