huh that is just wrong. well i hope no one will answer that add. I wouldnt trade my callie for anything . If they want a yorkie they need to pay for one from a breeder not try to trade for one. |

 And if the Yorkie doesn't live up to her expectations/specifications ... what then?? Advertise her for trade, I suppose!! That's terrible .... and I can't help but wonder how many hours a day the poor setter is in that crate? She is beautiful and so sad looking!! |

Breeders do trade pups and older dogs WHY. To get different blood lines. What she is doing is called the barter system. WE old timers understand this.. because it is the way we grew up. She may not care for the bigger dogs and want smaller dogs. I have a 12 year old Lab/retrevier mix and when she dies I will not have a large dog again. ( I like the small ones) I know the first time I posted was to trade a diamond ring for a Yorkie and someone BASHED me for it. Which was uncalled for. I would not have stayed here but another member step in and told the other to lighten up. I have a 6 month old with CH bloodlines and would trade her for a different pup.. Why?? because I have her half sister and I would like a different bloodline for my breeding program. Sounds mean.. but when you are a breeder you cannot keep every pup or dog. Other wise, if we did No one else would have a baby to call their own. IMO ..what she is doing does not offend me. |
To trade my baby woul be like trading one of my kids. I admit that yorkies are woth giving an a arm and a leg for, but if she can't make a commitment to her other dogs, she won't make one to a yorkie either. |
