bosslady | 05-12-2006 04:09 AM | I've posted this before but her goes for those that are new with questions. My Yorkie, Jasmine, and my granddaughters, Murphy, are the same age born on the same day but different breeders. I got Jasmine at 11 weeks, Murphy came a few weeks later. They are 10 months old now. Jas has always been very small and petite and weighs 5 lbs now. Her bone structure is very small. She is square (in other words, as tall as she is long. She turned silver and blonde. Her hair has always been pretty long. It is almost to the floor now but is pretty thin.
Murphy is bigger, probably 9 or 10 lbs. She hasn\'t weighed him. He has stayed black and reddish brown. He is much bigger boned than her. His hair is a very different texture. Much courser and very thick. It was very slow growing. When I first read about the red legged Yorkies I thought maybe he was one.
His hair finally took off and started growing. It is almost as long as Jasmine\'s now and very thick and pretty particuarly all around his face and neck. He is turning into a beautiful Yorkie so don\'t give up hope on the long hair.
I will try to post pictures. I\'ve taken almost a role of them but can\'t seem to get the last few taken so I can have them developed. |
