My two boys throw up yellow foamy junk when they have a sinus problem. Most of the time the only way I know is when they throw up and off to the vet for meds. |
VainChick - Your little puppy may be just fine. All the dogs and cats I have had my entire life have thrown up occasionally. Throwing up or spitting up isn't necessarily bad. It just happens. If your pup is acting the same, playful, normal bowel movements, etc., I wouldn't worry. If your pup's throwing up - just keep an eye on her. If she starts to act sick - not eating, abnormal bowel movements - not playing, etc. - then you should probably take her to the vet for a checkup. I notice every once in a while that one of my pets has thrown up a little some place in the house......it happens! And, no one has ever been sick. Actually, I'm never even sure which one did it. So yesterday was horrible. I had my friends boyfriend check on Coco while I was at work. He called all panicked and said he was taking her to the vet. Coco had solid poop on the puppy pad then on the other side there was runny stool with some blood all around it. He freaked and took her and I freaked and cried all the way to the vet's office. They checked her out and said its nothing more than she got into something she shouldn't have and it's having trouble on the way down. Causing some irritation. So he gave her an antibiotic/anti-inflammatory and something for her diahrea. Poor baby. She didn't even care thuogh, she was just trying to play with the vets fingers and trying to jump and lick him everywhere :D He gave her some canned food called Hills I/D which is bland soft dog food equivalent to broiled chicken and rice. She's doing great. So far since yesterday, no throw up, diahrea at midnight (what a clean up) but doing well. |
Good glad to hear she it doing better, and on the mend. Lucky to have a caring friend that worried and (even if he over reacted) now ya know, and ya know she's gonna be fine. ;) |
Yea I'm glad he came over to check on her and am very indebted to him. If he hadn't I wouldn't have gotten home in time to take her to her vet. Just glad it's all over :D |

You got quite a scare yesterday, but I'm glad Coco's doing better...Poor little baby, she doesn't even care that she's sick, she's just a happy sweet little girl :) Good luck at the vets :) |
I am so very glad to hear that Coco is doing better. Boy, they can really put us through emotional ringers! It's nice you could rely on your friend's bf to looke in on her had take assertive action and head to the vet. How lucky you are to have such GREAT friends! |
