Puppy stolen by breeder - Update! I think by now most interested people have read my thread here. Today, with the help of Kelz (thanks!), I found another lawsuit against her for dog related things. I called the guy who sued her last year, John, and he told me that she sold him a puppy with PARVO! And that she is running a puppy mill with her sister, Cindy, out of her home. Beverly Vizenor, you will get yours! I have called Brad Edwards at an OK news station, and I'm about to contact more stations. I cannot believe this! She is a con artist... and one of the best! The worst thing is, he said that once a puppy starts showing symptoms (diarrhea and vomiting), it will not live longer than 48 hours. I feel so awful because the morning I gave him over to Beverly, my puppy had diarrhea. So I know he must have passed away, oh my gosh I am heartbroken. But I think it would have been worse to just have him pass away in my home and not ever know what a scam she is running. I am still in shock! Oh my goodness! :O |
She's going to get what's coming to her! |
Well I hope for the best outcome for you and I sure hope this lady is stopped all together. |
I hope you get some resolution on this. Just because the puppy had diahrea I would not assume it had parvo. Puppies get diahrea for various reasons all the time. |
We are going to assume that since this guy knows several other people who have been sold a puppy with parvo, that they all have it... we haven't heard from anyone who bought one of her puppies who didn't get parvo. |
There is a special place in Hades for people like her. Good luck in getting your money back, I hope you are successful! |
oh my gosh i think i would have already been arrested for beating that lady for doing such horable things to those poor babies and those who are hoping to get a friend. Good luck with please keep us posted. |
If you all need help with anything I'm more than game to help take down a bad breeder! I'm also right down the street! |
Don't know if i have over look it' but where or who did he come from' people need to know could be somebody else looking to get one from her this very second. |
Beverly Vizenor and Cindy Naves, from Oklahoma City, Midwest City, or Checotah, Oklahoma Do not buy puppies from them. They will have parvo and these women will also steal your money. They have several outstanding judgments against them for stealing dogs and selling sick dogs. |
What a horrible woman. Does she give the dogs shots before they go to their new homes? Becareful if you have any other pets at home! |
Sorry :( Oh my God. I am so sorry for everything you have gone through and to now think that your baby may have past away is unbarable to even think. I hope this mad women goes down and that it ends with you. I also have hope that your baby may still be alive and be reunited with you. Like I stated in my last reply Goodluck with your case because I know you will succeed. I am just so sad that you had to go through this. My best wishes are with you. :aimeeyork |
The guy said when his puppy was seen by the vet, the vet told him that it had not had ANY shots or EVER seen a vet. And I called all the vets in Checotah, and Beverly Vizenor is not a client at any of them. So I can only assume that NONE of the puppies have ever seen a vet :( |

So when does it stop being a civil case and become a criminal case? Looks like to me it would be a cruelty to animals charge in the making by now at the very minimum. |
I have been following these threads from the very beginning-when you were looking for a home for your little guy. I also live in Oklahoma. Just outside of Tulsa. If there is anything I can do, just let me know. These crazy people drive me absolutely nuts. Keep your head up. |
Bad Breeder........... Well, I'm very proud of you.........YOU GO GIRL!!!!! I am sorry for all the trouble these girls have caused, but I hope and pray you WIN! I know you will get a healthy furbaby soon. Hang in there! |
I am glad to hear that this is getting some attention! You have done a great job at getting this bad breeder out in the open. I hope the best for you and those poor babies! Please keep us all posted! |
take her down!!!! that is just awful! |
Gosh this woman is such a...terrible person!!! I am so sorry this is happening to you. I really hope they get it!!!!!!!! |
I am happy to hear you are getting somewhere on this and found all that helpful information!! Keep us updated! |
Good job tracking down this much information!! I'll say a prayer that Brad Edwards will do a story (I'm the one that suggested you contact individual reporters - the funny thing is, we have a Brad Edwards here, too - but he's a meterologist for one of the local stations.) I'm not sure how you found out about this other lawsuit, but I bet if one has been filed against a horrible breeder like this, that it is very likely that others have also been filed. I know here folks can gain access to court lawsuits through the county or the state and its all online. You should see if there is something of this kind where the breeder resides. You may have to pay a fee to access all the records - but it may be worth it. Better yet, if the reporter will do the story, he may be able to easily gain access to these records. I know the paper I work for pays some type of flat fee to access the online records. Also, I don't mean to stick-up for a scum breeder, but some breeders do give the animals vaccinations themselves to cut down on vet bills. But, if your vet said the pup had never had vaccinations, I would trust him. Please keep us posted. We're rooting for you!! :aimeeyork :) Yorkiesmiles |
I am totally gobsmacked that there are such EVIL people around. I hope you bring the ***** down |

I love this! So proud you're getting to the bottom of this. Do you know what happened to the other law suite? |
It's so sad to hear about the pup and this other lawsuit against this woman. This is a horrible breeder and she needs to be reported to anyone and everyone that will listen. Hope that your story makes it in the news so that more people will hear about her. Keep us updated. |
What is Parvo? |
Parvo Quote:
The canine parvovirus can be transmitted by direct contact or indirectly by contact with vomit, diarrhea or any contaminated discharges from an infected dog. It strikes with a quick vengeance, and pet owners often make the comment that their dog was up and playing a few hours prior to the animal becoming extremely ill. Unfortunately, parvo is often fatal. Do not Take your puppy out of your home where it can infect or be infected until it has had the complete series of shots. By keeping it isolated you may save its life. Talk with a reputable Veterinarian about the recommended shots or vaccination for your puppy. If you've recently lost a dog to Parvo, veterinarians recommend that you wait six months to a year before putting a new puppy or non-vaccinated dog in to an infected environment (even if you have disinfected it). To immediately bring an animal into a situation where one has recently died of Parvo is a virtual death sentence for the new puppy. Common sense and regular visits to the veterinarian can save your dog's life. The symptoms of Parvo include... a sudden onset of vomiting, bloody diarrhea, dehydration, lethargy, high temperature and sometimes sudden death. Symptoms are similar in adults, although they can be less acute. Because Parvo attacks swiftly, time is of the essence. If you feel your dog has been exposed to Parvo, or it is showing symptoms, contact your veterinarian or an emergency veterinary hospital immediately. F-Strain Virus There is a recent mutation of the parvo virus which is more virulent. It attacks the lower intestinal tract or large intestine. Dogs contracting this new strain will have accelerated symptoms. Care should be given immediately! Symptoms to watch for: Gelatin-like stool with some blood. Vomiting with bile and foam. Rapid weight loss (within a few hours after becoming ill.) ************************************************ Got this from the above web site. If anyone has any corrections, let me know. |
Thank you so much for the info. I could have looked up too, but I was lazy... and you did it for me.... arigato arigato!! :) You are very kind! |
