Girl, you wouldn't believe the door prizes the wonderful YT retailers have donated! I have a couple boxes worth of lovely Yorkie things!

Also, I have forms, camera, programs, rocks for paperweights, nametags, my lawnchairs, coolers, 2 tables (one for registration, one for displaying prizes) my lunch, my beverages, a cart for lugging stuff, leashes, carry bag, a "surprise", and OH YES!! Can't forget my YORKIES and my husband!! LOLOLOL!!

Well I thought I had noted every thing i wanted to bring..my small cooler, my camera, my babies, but i am so glad you mentioned a chair! I have one of those fold up chairs in a bag that will fit in my little compartment aka trunk.
Heck, maybe I should just use the blaze mobile after all! I kept it for bad weather and to take to the shows. It's just NO FUN to drive! LOL

I want my sister to come, her car has a back seat we can cram some stuff in. Well, If I do decide to drive my car, the yorkies can ride on Ashley's lap, and we'll cram what we can in the compartment. Or another idea is to trade cars with her for the day...she's been wanting to borrow mine for a day anyway...hopefully she'll just come with me.

WOW, folks!! Can you believe our MeetUp is just a scootch over a week away!!?? I've been working on this thing since February 19th, and I will be sad to see it over, I have had sooooo much fun pulling it together!!

Here's the directions I recommend:

1. On I-40 coming from the East or the West, take the I-40 exit 210.

2. Follow the signs towards the PTI Airport, but stay on the Joseph M. Bryan Blvd, do not make the right turn to the Airport itself. You will be on this road for about 9 miles.

3. Take the Westridge Rd Exit, turn left onto Westridge Rd. Stay on for .6 mi.

4. Turn right on Battleground Ave/RT 220 .4 mi

5. Turn Left onto Pisgah Church Rd. .5 mi

6. Turn Left onto Lawndale Dr. .8mi

7. Turn left onto Ormond. The parking lot is at the end of Ormond Rd, to your left. If you wish, you can also park in the Science Center Back Parking Lot.

I'm really bad with directions and I'm going to need all the help I can get if I end up driving...so again, if anyone is coming down I-40 before you get to winston salem area, I would LOVE to meet you at any exit and follow along with you. I can get to PTI easily. It's once I get into Greensboro that I get nervous.

Change of location due to rain predictions
 

Hello, Everyone!!

I am happy to report that with the help of Sharon Knight of the Bark Park we have landed an alternate site for tomorrow's meetup!! I just know with an 80% chance of rain predicted, it WILL happen, there is no denying it. We would prefer not to have little wet Yorkies (or PEOPLE), so we will be meeting at the Lewis Recreation Center, which is on the southernmost end of the Jaycee/Country Park.

Meeting time will still be 11-3 as planned!! This is actually an excellent alternative, as this location is fully accessible to the elderly and disabled, and I had some questions concerning both.

I am attaching a map, and EASIER directions to get there than I gave you before. It's very easy to find.

1. On I-40, take exit 214-B, Wendover, heading east. Stay on Wendover for 5 miles
2. Take the Westover Terr. exit, at top of ramp turn left onto Westover Terr.
3. (Westover turns into Battleground Ave. in .6 miles)
4. Stay on Battleground (formerly Westover Terr) total of 2.3 miles. You will see a CVS Pharmacy on your right at Pisgah Church Rd.
5. Turn RIGHT on Pisgah Church Rd
6. Take your FIRST LEFT, Forest Lawn Drive, then first left again. You will see Lewis Recreation Center, first large building on your right. Telephone number for Lewis Rec is 373-3330. My cell is 407-8751,
