| Ears My Bella is almost 13 weeks and her ears aren't up. Will they come up on their own? The base of the ears are up, but half the ear still flaps down.

| Hi! Here's a recent thread you can read about ears. & you can always do a search for even more info from people with the same problem. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32076 Most people swear by taping them and/or shaving them. PS-My cousin has a boxer named Bella. I think its such a pretty name.

| Down Ears my Bear(Tootie) had down ears when we purchased him at 12 weeks. I had no idea that something should be done, nor did I even know they should be standing. He is now 6 months old and has DUMBO ears.. haha... I wouldnt trade him for the world, he is a precious baby but.... no "ears up" for Bear. OH, did I mention, he is also almost 12 POUNDS! WOW |

| At 8 weeks, my pups ears were going up and down. I think it was 4 months or so before they went up and stayed up. I did trim some hair off them to get rid of some of the weight - but this may have had nothing to do with it. I was really worried about my pup's ears staying up because he just happens to have the biggest ears in the world. He looks like a little coyote now. Good luck! Carol Jean |

| Well Lexi just got home and her ears are half up at the moment. I will be taping them hopefully within a week they'll start standing on their own. I did the same process with Harley and his ears turned out great. I used some type of tape that was like paper so it wouldn't pull their hair. I can't remember the name of it but I know it's some form of medical tape. It kind of looks like scotch tape. Good Luck with the ears. I'll keep ya posted on Lexi's progress with the ears.
