Mike told me how to use my computer to downsize my photos...the program I needed was in my computer all along...Good old Iphoto!!!!Thank you Mike for unlocking the secret of downsizing on an Apple iBook :) My first attachment is my favorite picture of Vivi when she was a baby :aimeeyork

Thanks Mike but it may take me awhile to learn avatars...I think I need to enlist the help of one of YTs expert avatar artists :)

You don't have to have a fancy animated avatar right off. Just size one of the photos 125 x 125 pixels (75x75 for non-donating members). Then under the blue, "Quick Links" popup bar on YT, select "Edit Avatar." Scroll down to "Choose File," and find the picture you downsized. "Choose" and "Save changes," and you're done.

Rhonda..I have always thought that Vivi looks like a little fox cub in that picture minus the bushy tail. :) I love all puppy pictures...they grow up so fast.

Alaskayorkie is a terrific guy. He helped me figure out how to build an Avatar. We are soooooooo lucky to have him. Not to mention his great sense of humor! He's constantly making me LOL!

Trust me Alaskayorkie...I'm no expert! :p I just find pictures from the internet, resize them, and add them to my avatar. Thanks for the compliment, though! Passtionfruition is an expert. How does she get Sully to play basketbal?? :animal36

I don't believe you. Besides, I can't hear you. I'm still hiding in my cave reading avatar manuals.

And personally, I think passionfruition is a computer herself. No human is smart enough to do the cool things she does with avatars.

Vivi has such pretty hair color. I like the different colors in her face- she is very pretty.

Hi Shana, Thank you...She has changed quite a bit since the avatar picture..she was a little baby then...Now she is gold on her face and silver on her back.You can really see what she looks like in the photos of her in your clothes.

Hi Honeybrown..Vivi came through Elizabeth Mandarino in Fairfield, NJ. :) Her breeders are in Missouri and are known for dogs with sweet ,calm personalities which is exactly what I was looking for.They found the perfect puppy for me. Vivi is the most wonderful dog I have ever known.

O you got her from Divapups.com. I always look at their website but do shy away from them.

OK!!! Now you have to share - I have an IBook and Iphoto - I downloaded another resizer program because I didn't know I could use Iphoto, but it won't resize small enough for an avatar. Can you share the Iphoto instructions????? Many thanks - you can pm me if you want.
