| Question? looking for some answers I have a 2 year old male , who is a pure bred registered yorkie, tatooted, but looking at all of the pictures of everyone else's little ones , I am wondering if he is not a silky or at least part. The reason I ask is he is a real light silver blue on his body and light tan on his face, and legs, he is long and lean, and weighs 5,5 pounds, while my female is the dark blue, on the body and is short and stalky weighing 5.5 pounds, I wish I had a camera to show you what i mean any insight to this would be helpful.

| My pup has turned sliver and a light tan. He is 5 1/2 months old, 6 1/2 pounds, and is very slender - with a somewhat long back --- but he has a very short puppy cut right now and I think this accentuates his being thin. I'm sure if his hair were longer - he'd look heavier and not so thin. And - I know mine's all Yorkie. Carol Jean |

| I have a little silky/yorkie cross. She seems to mainly take after Dad, the Yorkie, but has a longer nose like Mum,the Silky. Too early to tell her grown-up colour,as she is only 16 weeks, but looks like it will be light.Hope that is helpful. |

My furkids Donating Member | I believe that a Silky is bigger than a yorkie. I know that a yorkie can be different shades of blue. My little girl never changed. She is black and gold although, you can see some steel coming through when the sun hits her back. Sadie also weighs 5 lbs.
