Just Wondering.......... How many here (dogs) have the Microchip Implanted? Have you lost your dog and where able to find the dog again? Miny has one and I was just wondering if it actually works!! :) Thank Again, Chaz |
I have 3 chipped and plan to have Layla and Bandit will be chipped tomorrow when they remove his retained teeth. Also our outside cat is chipped. Oh yes they work. |
Good question, I was thinking about getting my daisy m-chipped within a few weeks. About how much does it cost for the procedure? |
My vet charged $35. I got it done when mine were spayed/neutered. |
We have both of our girls chipped...they don't wear a collar or harness in the house so we had them done in case they were to ever get out!!! And it makes us feel so much more secure....it was not painful at all for them and was not that expensive as well! I would highly recommend to do it!!! |
My girl is chipped. I had it done here at my vet when she was spayed. When we were in Korea she got sick with the vomit and diarrhea and we went to the vet. I asked him to scan it and it even scanned in Korea :D course they didn't have the number in their data base. SHe hasn't ever been lost so we haven't had to see if it works. |
My vet assistant told me of her mother's dog going missing from her front yard. A few days later they saw a lady at the store carrying her dog. They asked if she had recently found the dog and the lady said she had had her for a few years. They followed her home and called the animal control officer who scanned the dog and found it to be theirs. She sold me. It cost about $39. |
Baby is chipped. I haven't had to use it yet thank God! :-) |

Princess has one, I hope we never have to use it. It works I know that, my friends furbaby was stolen, and she got her back.   |

BUT, if she hadn\'t been chipped - it would have been her word against theirs! There\'s the original question - why do you want to have your dog micro-chipped??? |
