Hey, some folks are just rude and ugly :mad: , but to each their own. Just think if everyone who goes to PetSmart felt like we do about Yorkies, there would definitely not be enough to go around and they would be so expensive and overbred that few of us could afford one, and the breed would be suffering.

So those of us who love these little animals we are the connoisseurs of the dog world. :D :D

next time it happens and people are that rude. Just look at them and say" opinions are like azzholes everybody has one".

it's funny to see that our yorkies are of better breeding with better manners than some human beings. and they wonder why i treat my yorkie "as if he's human". :rolleyes:

The one and only time I was rude to my Grandmother was when she told me that my Gracie was, and I quote, "the uglest dog she had ever scene". I did not even give her a chance to say anything else. I jumped up and told her exactly what was on my mind and walked out of the room. My aunt defended me and my Grandmother did apologize, but my grandpa chimed in with a thought, he wanted to know how they could ever have fleas. He thinks that it should be the other way around, fleas should have yorkies cuz they are too damn small to have fleas, I had to laugh at that one....
Saying that a yorkie is ugly is like someone telling you that your kid is ugly!

Well I do have a big dog and Love my German Shep to death. But I am getting a Yorkie pup in a week or so. I just adore a pupp cut on a Yorkie, that is what draws me to them. That adorable little fur face. :D My Shep will have to get used to walking with a small dog again. His previous owners had a pom also and then decided they didn't want any animals. I get so many comments on him too. There is a growing population of Yorrkies here. Or atleast they all crawled out of the wood works when I decided to get a yorkie. :D

This really shows the ignorance of some people. I have had folks make comments about Jolene being dressed in sweaters, or having a blanket in her cart. Some have even asked, "What is that thing" like she was an alien. I politely respond, "Oh, she is a yorkie. Have you ever seen one? There aren't a lot around her as they are quite expensive" They normally respond with a dumbfounded look like, smart***, did you just insinuate I could not afford one, and then walk off. I'm not out to make friends at the store. I could care less what they think of me, just don't insult my kid or my yorkie or I might collect poo for you the next time!!!
