First of all, I am certainly no Yorkie expert but I have heard that some Yorkies at least will gravitate toward a family member of the opposite sex. I found this to be true not long after my wife and I were married and her Yorkie "adopted" me...which of course made my wife just a little jealous. We have a new Yorkie now, a female, and I will be interested to see if this holds true (I hope so!).
