I think it is just the brand name. It has a strap on the bottom that you can tighten and it zips on the top it even has handles on the top so just in case you can lift them out of the water with it. http://www.jefferspet.com/ssc/produc...MB56T7DWPH92RD |

I got Cosmo a tiny he was about 4 to 5 lbs. How much does she weigh. |
 around 8 or 9 lbs i think |
I will go see how tight it is on cosmo now bc that is what size he is now too. |
I think you need to get a small. I got a tiny for Jewels she is 6lbs and a I am pretty certain a small for Chachi he is 9 lbs. |
 thanks, i will get a small |
I was going to suggest the xsmall becuase my tiny still almost fits Cosmo just little too small to be zipped up and he is 13 inches around his tummy, :) |
just reading the sizes xm - 16" to 20" sm - 20" to 24" i think they mean the girth so if thats what it is, then lexi is a xs. her girth is 13 or 14 and her length is 12" im confused..this bites |

Okay I just got Chachis out and its an xsmall sorry. I can get it zipped up but it is extremely tight it took effort to get the zipper up. |

  I have a vest for my jack russell already, now i need to get one for nina for the boat this summer. Its alot safer because if she ever jumped over you just shut off engine and grab with boat hook. Thants why the loop is on top of the vest. She rolls over in a sweater so i can imagine her in this jacket this summer, ill have to pull her around in it. :D Patty and Nina |

PetSmart sells them....that's where I bought Sully's. He doesn't mind wearing it and it really does help him float in the water! It's well worth the money and it's not even that expensive! You must get one! Plus they're so darn cute wearing their life jackets, LOL! |

Edie has one by Outward Hound. We used to LIVE on our 35 foot boat in the summer here in Maine. Here's the funny thing: Edie's life vest has NEVER GOTTEN WET. The water is pretty cold up here. I usually kept it on her when we were underway. At anchor, in a calm harbor, I took it off. Edie has pretty good sea legs and goes almost everywhere on the boat. I do suggest that you bring Lexi's crate with you so you have somewhere secure to put her if necessary. One time we were in VERY ROUGH seas (have you seen the "Perfect Storm??") and I kept Edie in her crate in a secure place. Hopefully you won't have to deal with that. Also, if you decide to leave the boat and go out to dinner or something, she will be much safer in the crate than wandering around the boat. |
