i have a ? about a lady ! all my otherppl fell throw with geting me a puppy so ! i have a new lady that said she was a breeder but had an acssendt and cant breed any more and she is selling her last puppps for about 400 with shipping ! the one i am gettin is 11 weeks and the lady is letting me send her 200 now and 200 when i reseave tha puppy just becouse she needs to give them a good home ! do u think shes ok and wont scam me !@! |
I would certainly ask her for references and make sure you check them out. With so many scammers out there now a days you need to check out everything you can on breeders. SO many claim to be this and that and are NOT. :D |
I wouldn't send anything until you have seen the puppies, or have someone go see them for you. Where did you find her? I would question it! :confused: |
PLEASE say you didn't find her on Puppyfind....be very very careful doing this....Have you checked her out before sending any money ? That is almost too little money to include shipping - I can't think of ANY breeders who would only charge that amount AND pay for shipping....this screams SCAM to me - Sorry - that's just my opinion here and I'd hate to see anyone get burned. PLUS...if she was really worried about where her puppies went - she wouldn't be SHIPPING - someone could sell a 400 yorkie local and quickly ! I really think you are getting scammed here! |
I would most definitely check her out as throughly as I could. It's a shame that we have to worry about scams of any kind especially puppies. Good Luck and keep us posted. |
If this is still the one from puppyfind I still think it is a scam. It takes at least 200 to ship a puppy. That means that she is asking less than 200 for a puppy. That is just an unheard of amount. My quess is you put 200 down on the puppy and never hear from her again. There are all types of scams going on on puppyfind. If it sounds too good to be true it usually is. |
and also - you don't PAY a deposit then PAY again to RESERVE A DOG - this is a SCAM |

TNK2002, to avoid a scam, like I said in your other post, is to find a breeder locally, and GO to their house. With all the scams now days, theres NO way in heck I would EVER EVER have a dog shipped to me. Besides, dont you want to know where your puppies mom and dad were raised, so you know it isnt a puppymill??? THIS IS VERRY VERRRY important, I cant stress this enough. Please, if you NEED help finding REPUTABLE breeders, let us know!! This is probably the BEST place in the whole United States to find a good healthy Yorkie puppy, there are so many helpful and knowledgable people here. |
scam Why would anyone go tot he trouble of shipping you a dog from Spain with all the expenses invloved..they can sell them right where they are..there is no problem selling a Yorkie in Spain for what they are asking without shipping!! We used to have a member on YT from Spain I used to talk to...not Gina, but another member. She told me she bred Yorkies and they sold in the $1000 range even then. |
I don't know who's getting scammed here. I just read the posts by the thread starter and there is something strange here - you can get a Yorkie in Houston EASY. |

I do not think it is a coincidence that you are EVEN considering a puppy from TWO scammers that are screaming "SCAM". Ive seen that some members of YT were kind enough to give you sites and names of reputable breeders in Texas (where it appears you are at)but you keep posting about ads from scammers. Are you trying to lead us towards the direction you found these ads so WE can fall for these "too good to be true" ads or are you just being innocent and naive? :confused: |
