| I have Yorkie Fever!! You know how we women get baby fever when we want to have another baby? Well I have yorkie fever because I want to have another yorkie!!! I don't know if it would be a good idea now though. I have Starsky who will be a year on 2-8-06 and I have Haggis who is my beagle who is 7. Starsky is constantly picking on Haggis. Jumping all over him and biting his tail. If I got another yorkie, they would gang up on him and it wouldn't be fair to Haggis. But man, I want a little girl so bad!!! Haggis is my son's dog and he is in college for another 3 years. After college he'll take Haggis. I really can't pay a lot of money right now for another dog, but I have been looking at rescues, seeing if the right one will come available. I get really jealous hearing of all the new puppies coming now. I want one!!!! How do you get out of this yorkie fever mess???????

| I don't know if you came to the right place if you want to try to get over this urge. I could almost bet everyone would say "Go For It." I myself when I first joined this group after I got Raven always seen posts such as there so addicting. I didn't see it right away because I guess I was so overwhelmed with the new puppy, housebreaking, the hypoglycemia situation. But now guess what, my new baby will be here as soon as the breeder feels like he is big enough to go. He will be 12 weeks tommorow, so she's thinking probably next weekend. I can't wait I'm getting very excited. I was kinda sneaky because I wanted another dog, I decided to make it my husbands X-mas present. It worked, he is even excited about the second dog, and this is coming from a man who wanted a divorce if I ever brought a dog home. Go Figure!! I think Walt Disney needs to come out with a sequel to 101 Dalmations and make 102 Yorkies. I probably didn't give you the answer you were looking for, sorry. Kim

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I too have the fever. I have a 9 year old pom that Cali is always jumping on and I want another one. That way Cali will have someone to play with. I want to get a 6 month old that has been Liver Shunt tested and in the 5-6 lb range.

| i have yorkie fever too! i would really appreciate you messaging me when you find the cure to yorkie fever- i def need some meds for it... i only got Sirius about 2 months ago, and im already thinking of getting another baby. its crazy! but i def know how you feel. im going to wait awhile and let siri enjoy his alone time with me or i should say, let myself enjoy it. what i did to kind of curb my enthusiam was to remember how stressed i was when i first got Siri- like how every second i thought he was dying from a horrible disease and ask myself, am i ready for that right now? and im not...YET :} im prob not a huge help, but just to let you know, you are the only perwson suffering from this glorious disorder

Yorkie Lover Donating Member | I also get yorkie fever at times, esp. when alot of people start bringing home new babies...but I have two great girls right now and really don't want to upset the apple cart!! I like what age they are at, I like being able to take them places, and I like being able to give each individualized attetion....so when I want anyother yorkie, I instead try and spend the whole day playing with the two I have and enjoying every minute with them!!
