| Bully sticks? Okay, I finally did a search for bully sticks to see exactly what these things are. This was the only description on one of the sites.... "These dried muscles become chewy when wet and provide a natural way to clean teeth and exercise gums. 100% digestable.". I've never looked in stores for them because I thought they were like rawhides and rawhide is not something you want a small dog to have. So.... these look like rawhides.... what makes them different and better for our Yorkies? I just read a post about the choking puppy and someone said that giving a bully stick is better than rawhide. Really? Better than greenies too?

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Bully sticks get the paws stamp of approval from Trace. However, I don't know about it cleaning their teeth cause their breath after, definitely isn't "fresh", if ya know what I mean

Donating YT 14K Club Member | My dogs love them! It does make their breath a little funky after chewing on one for over an hour. But hey, it's to make them happy!

| I see..... yes, now I remember a post a while back telling what these bully sticks really are. And no, I don't imagine that these things would freshen their breath too much. So if bully sticks are dried hoo-hoos , then what is rawhide actually?? Dried what? And does Petco carry bully sticks? That's the only pet place we have here - besides a couple places that sell puppies that I won't go in. If not Petco, there is one other place I can check before going on-line. The pet boutique/grooming place here in town has Innova and Tatum is almost out so I have to go there anyway.

| Chewy loves them!!! I even sell them on the site. Surprisingly, I get lots of orders for them, sometimes 10 at a time! I usually have about 100 sticks in stock at all times and I still run out!!! |

| Olivia LOVES them! Our local pet store sells quite a few varieties of them. I've been getting her one that is about 6 inches long and is actually 3 of the sticks braided together. She usually spends a day chewing on them until they fall apart, and then a good 2-3 days on each individual stick. And I'm talking, hours upon hours of chewing each day. The one I buy is aroun $5, which seems kind of expensive for a bone, but it lasts FOREVER compared to other bones. I've ordered them through PetEdge before (www.petedge.com ) Your pup will love you for buying them! |

| I have to order these in bulk. My fur kids go nuts over them. I do hate the way they smell, ewwwww and it does leave their hair sticky so I do a lot of clean up. But the good things about them out weigh the bad for sure. My friends get grossed out when they come over and I explain to them what they are. "good conversation piece". LOL

| I get the curly 6" bully sticks from Pet Edge and then I cut them in half. The shipping costs at Pet Edge are ridiculous though! I'll check out the Pet Boutique website. I have seen them at a pet store called Pet Supplies Plus. They are about 3" in length and cost about $2.00 each. Be prepared for you baby's breath to smell like he/she just ate a beef jerky! But the smell goes away after a little while. |

Poor Tatum gets one greenie about every two weeks after her bath. I'm convinced that she acts as well-behaved as she does during that bath only because she knows that greenie is coming. After she's dried and brushed, we go out to pottie and she pees so fast and runs to the door and straight in to the cabinet she knows they are in. I just wonder how harmful greenies really are if they only get one twice a month at the very most.
