I dont know what to do! I just found out this seller is using Emmy's picture (she's Miky) and also a friend of mine's Beijinho and Menina (they are save and timmy). They even used Beijinho & Menina's dogster profiles! ANd Viky looks a lot like Villette's Cheri as a puppy!

this is pathetic! it's outrageous how far these scammers will go! not only did they rip off pictures but also entire dogster profiles???!!!! WTF??!!!

Emmy is unmistakable and I can't believe they'd be dumb enough to use her on a scam....

and that IS Cheri :eek: from what I can see on that little pic - I have one just like that on my disk of Cheri.

This sucks - I can't believe the nerve of people - stealing Dogster profiles too ? man - these days puppy find is more like Puppy SCAM...

That's terrible. Did it work when people posted Kimberly's stolen pictures on puppyfind with warnings that they were stolen written across them? Did the thieves stop using her pictures? Maybe you could try that.

That is absolutely horrible! I hope somethign can be done soon. I hate it that some dishonest people ruin internet shopping for the rest of us by doing this kind of crap. Cant trust anyone!

it's a good thing people who have the upgraded accts on puppyfind did post a "beware of scammer" review for that seller. all the puppies "up for sale" by that seller are ripped off from dogster it would appear.

i just sent the seller a little "nasty gram"

OMG! These scammers are absolutely incredible...Can't find anything else to do rather than stealing people's pics and scamming people out of money?!? This is really sad...Brittany, there must be something you can do about this; I don't know what, but something.

Okay, so they steal the pictures, and then puppyfind puts THEIR web address on it!!! Wouldn't that mean that puppyfind would be liable in some way for the stolen pictures?

Where are all the YT lawyers????

I dont even care about the pictures, I just dont want someone paying good money thinking they were getting little Emmy and then getting scammed!

I'm with ya. It just seems that puppyfind isn't very responsible when it comes to weeding out the scammers. I know other sites seem to be more vigilant...

So,say someone buys the pup that is Emmy..what on earth do they get instead? It would be hard to find another pup with that face so the new owner would soon find out...then what? Cant something be done before that happens?

shouldnt that be illegal? like false sales. there has to be somewhere on the site to turn these people in. i mean come on! that is insane.

The buyer pays $450 for a puppy and that includes shipping...I have a feeling they do not get anything..it is a scam to have money sent to them..you have to join the site to read the details, but there was an ad like this from Brazil...it always saiad..Homeless puppies.

I agree with you Pat - the prices are MEANT to grab someones attention and if they're using fake pictures - you can bet there is NO puppy either...

How do you find the real owner? Do you know the toy poodles's owner? I wonder why Puppyfind can't find these scammers. This is so wrong to scam people who would have no idea and puppyfind doesn't have any responsibility!!

i just searched for a toy poodle with the name "muffy" based on the profile's nickname. and sure enuf muffy came up.

i'm sure puppyfind can identify the scammers based on their payment information. in order for non-paying registered member to see an ad, the seller must have a paying account. so puppyfind KNOWS who they are, but just chooses not to do anything about it. :(

Oh Lordy...here we go....I think a lawyer should contact Puppyfind...and threaten to put a boot where it hurts...their pocket.. That they can throw up their proverbial hands and say...Not Our Problem!..is ridiculous!
