LOL....He's a huskie trapped in a yorkie body  Couldn't see his expression at the end too well, but I'm sure he was thinkin'...."so you gonna play or what?". We got a dusting of snow (2") a couple of weeks ago, covered the deck and grass. Trace was not happy that someone put that white stuff all over everything....he ran down the sidewalk checking all the potty spots, looking for a clear area....finally decided...hmmmm, I'll potty right here on the concrete :D |
Eddie looks like he loves it out there! :D |

Eddie the Yeti!! Love his new nickname! Boy does he have fun in the snow. It does snow here sometimes. Maybe once every two or 3 years. And usually only about enough to turn everything white, but it is gone in a couple hours. But once, about 2 years ago, it snowed about 8 or 9 inches. Our dogs didn't know what it was, but they sure had fun jumping thru the snow. They all look like little bunnies hopping around. They didn't stay out there very long, though. Guess it was too cold for them. They came back in and said, I want to get warm, thank you very much! |

And bchgirl, I think you're right: He is a huskie trapped in a yorkie body! The turning point for him enjoying the snow was getting him to tolerate booties. He's loved it ever since. I still don't see how he can deal with minus 10 like last night. I didn't let him out for very long, but he didn't want to come back in the house. Your comments flatter and crack me up, everyone else. I wish I could send you some of this snow sometimes! |
Your Eddie is an inspiration. My family thought I was cruel putting Zoe out when it was in the low 40's. I told them I had seen posts like yours on YT so our South Texas weather at it's worst is nothing compared to what northern dogs endure. Stay warm!!! |
Eddie was a malemute in a former life, or a wolf :) I'm sure of it! |
