| ![]() Dexter for the past few days has really been panting inside the house. It’s 78 w/o the air on and humidity and dew point are comfortable. I just hate seeing him lying around and panting 😕 Anyone else have a yorkie with problems with the heat. Dexter is 10 1/2 |

| ![]() We had just one day high of 81, I haven't had to use the AC. My guy is 13 and he was just fine. Maybe a vet visit to make sure he's not suffering from some underling thing. Panting can be a sign of pain.

| ![]() Thanks I’ll keep an eye on him. He likes to spend most of the day with me by the pool. I’ve got an outdoor rug for the patio table to sit on and an umbrella to keep him shaded. When he gets warm, he’ll stand on top of the pool steps for me to put him in the water. |

| ![]() I had two girls that loved, loved swimming, they would stay in the pool all day if allowed. Dexter is a lucky fellow to have a pool to cool off.

| ![]() Sigh, He wants to be in the water but, it’s still been really cool for June . My pool is shaded until 11 in the morning so, it stays cool until it gets hot enough |

| ![]() I have ones that love the heat and ones that hate it. Callie panted a lot the last few years of her life and got hot kinda hot easily. Joey seems to get hot sorta easy. We lost power last week for a few hours and it got a little warm but Ollie seemed to be the only one who started panting. Have you tried setting up a fan he can choose to lay in front of or near if he wants to?
