| Vomit yellow bile Hello All - I know every now and then dogs vomit yellow bile. However, lately he has been doing it almost weekly. He has done it two days in a row. He does have his food down to eat when he's hungry I never take it way. The only thing I can think of is that after I brush his teeth I have been spraying a pet dental spray at night and take his food away. Not sure if perhaps that spray is causing this issue. But I have been using that spray for months now Any ideas? |

| Try making sure he is eating a small snack before bed. If that doesn’t help it could be something more serious. I have one that has to eat a little kibble before bed or she will throw up bile.

| When I say snack I just mean some of the kibble but not necessarily a full meals worth. You can make it a game by using some of the puzzle toys they make for dogs.

| To be safe I would have bloodwork done. Pay attention to the liver and gall bladder numbers.

| I agree, if bloodwork has not been done recently, I would call the vet and make an appt for a check up. Usually, vomiting bile is due to an empty stomach, but cannot hurt to have it checked. Better safe than sorry.

| A small snack of kibble in the morning will usually stop it. |
