For that price I don't know anyone that would do this on purpose or to be spite full. I'm gonna speculate 2 things: 1. The member on YT is a ficticous person and Aspen is now off the market for you because of others experience on YT and the breeder caught wind that bad experiences were being shared. 2. The member on YT didn't see the post that you were getting Aspen and just had to have him. NO matter what the reason the breeder should have been upfront and honest with you. Sorry this happend! But really, it's probably for the best!! |
I also think it was wrong. It doesn't matter who the other member (or non-member) is or even if they are one of my favorites....it is wrong. I could see if the person contacted you and said "Hey, if you decide you don't want this pup, please let me know, I'd love to have it". I know you are very angry right now, but just know if you don't get this pup, it wasn't meant to be and that the one that is just right for you is still waiting for you to find him/her. |
One thing's for sure, it's gonna be kinda tough for the annon to post pics of their new baby on here! :eek: |

I Agree !!!! You shouldn't have to worry about someone taking a puppy your inquiring on b/4 you are able to make your decision. If it was just Joe Blow then it wouldn't matter, but this is suppose to be like a family and you don't do that to blood!!!!!! |
Aspen Hey was Aspen that $3000 pup?? I'm sorry to hear that someone did that!! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! The person that did that SUCKS BIG TIME!! DON'T DARE POST ASPEN WHEN U GET HIM!! WE WILL IGG U!!! Well i'm sure you'll find another baby that looks better than Aspen and is healthier for less than $3000. Lawd I'd die if I spent that much! |
You know what - IF I saw a puppy and knew another person was interested in him - I would WAIT Till that person made up their minds and CHECK and see if it would be ok ..... but to go and BUY a puppy right out from under someone's nose is just very selfish. It was obvious from your posts Tricia that you were VERY Interested in him and that person probably would never have seen that puppy if it wasn't for you. They should have asked to be 2nd in line if you decided not to get him. NOT NICE ! |
Alright, people! I had met a member here not long ago (like a couple of weeks). This person, whether knowingly or not, bought Aspen last night. I did not know it but got the e-mail this morning at work. Tricia, I'm sorry that this happened to you. I did not know that she was looking to get Aspen. But she asked me to not give her name and I will not. :( |

That was so wrong in that person to buy the pup like he/she did. We are suppose to be able to come to YT for advise and research. You did what I would have done and asked about a breeder before purchasing a pup from him/or. Good luck on your search for a new baby, I sure one is waiting out there just for you. |

I thought you said in your first post... btw annon person the dog is still available... if this is the case, then no one bought the dog from under you correct? I don't know, but sheesh there are a lot of games being played lately on this forum... people saying so and so did this or that, but not saying anyones name then people suspect other people, people falsly accused, people not being able to trust anyone.... my kids behave better than people on this forum lately... I don't get it. |

I'm not sure who saw Aspen first, but knowing someone was only waiting for information, before calling the breeder is wrong. If this member did e-mail another member to tell them what they were going to do, they knew they were wrong. Why didn't they just post they were looking at the same pup? They had to have read last nights thread. I think it's sad to go behind someone's back. We are a on-line family here, trust runs here, just as it runs in your family at home. There are so many wonderful furbabies out there. I'm sure you will find another one soon.
