Royal Canin Production Problem Royal Canin is having some production problems and aren't putting it out there enough for consumers to know in my opinion so just want to give everyone a heads up. They did put a message on their website but its pretty vague on my opinion. They said they are having a hard time keeping up with production. After looking at their Facebook page and straight out asking about my food the small breed sensitive digestion they said that they are not producing a lot of their foods except the ones they deem most important which I am assuming means the prescription foods. They are not producing ANY of the breed specific foods either as well a lot of others. They plan to eventually start producing them again in the future but there is no time line. I was able through other states to track down four 17lb bags of my food but I'm pretty sure after those its done and I will have to find an alternative. My biggest issue is Mr.Ollie who refuses to eat any other brand besides Royal Canin. I have tried other foods with him in the past and he would not eat any of them. My friends don't get it and seem to think its super easy to just switch to a different food. Anyway I hope yall get this message in time to either find your food or have time to slowly switch them to something else. I wasn't this stressed when toilet paper, soap, hand sanitizer, sodas, meat and so on were hard to find but now I'm just so anxiety ridden about this. |
This post is stressing me out. My three only eat rc for yorkies. Ugggg. Not sure what I’ll do. I don’t trust any other brands. |

My Kinder is on Hills Prescription Diet ZD and they are not making it because they cannot get chicken livers. Hills told me to call my vet and they gave me an alternative food. If you can get your food stock up it may get worse. Hills is not going to be making some foods. |
Baby Zoe will adapt. She is a good eater. But Barney and Willie will really struggle. It took forever to get them back to dry food. I guess I need to start switching now while I have plenty to mix with. The last time I switched their dry food willie got HGE. |

My 3 have been on RC for Yorkies for several years. They love it, seem healthy, their hair grows thicker and faster (not that I wanted to have to groom more often), but unfortunately they all gained weight even just eating 1/3cup twice a day. So when the price of a 10# bag went to $55 (yes $5.50/pound for dry dog food is HIGH), I tried Costco's small breed dog food, until I couldn't get it. I am now using Coscto's "puppy" kibble, which looks just like the RC-Yorkie, and they love it (it's $.82/pound). So, for now, until I find something better, I'm happy with it. They are seniors at 12 & 13 years old, and I'm just happy to find a small kibble they love; even Karlee who only has 3 teeth can eat it. |

My yorkies really like the Fromm dog food. They eat the turkey pate and the Senior Gold dry. Fromm is an excellent company to deal with. |

Dog food Why not Fromm? I really want to feed the best to my yorkies. They like this and the stools are well formed. It looks like good ingredients. I've questioned royal canin with the by products in their food. Corn. I value your opinion because you know alot about dog issues. |
I'm seeing an improvment on my RC orders FINALLY! |
