| Wild Earth food for licking/chewing paws It has been so long since I posted. Pippin is now 8 and is such a good girl, but she's been chewing her paws and different food or medicine is not helping. This just a few months ago. Thinking of switching her food to Wild Earth. She is now on 1/2 canned and 1/2 dry Natures Balance with fruits and veggies in between. It has been working fine in the past. Has anyone ever given their pup this food. Thank you ! SueInPgh

| Food allergies only account for about 10% of allergies in dogs. I have a pup who has itchy paws....usually it is yeast when the vet scrapes it but sometimes bacterial (which requires an antibioitic). A vet visit with a skin scraping is in order so you know what is going on. My pup's last visit when she started paw licking, she had a Cytopoint injection (that stuff is amazing! it usually lasts about 8 weeks for her, sometimes longer) and I had to bathe her feet in medicated shampoo for the yeast and apply Duoxo Mousse to her paws.
