Piper will fetch edible little bones and sorta bring them to me, but then I have to "chase" after her as she trots through the house, looking back to be sure I'm coming to "get her!" How much joy these little doll babies bring in us and in sooo many ways!!!

When we play fetch, yes, Cody brings the toy to me to throw again. I am now teaching him to catch these small balls when I toss them in the air.

My now passed girl Matese loved balls of all sizes. I would buy big beach balls, toss them to her, like a volleyball player she would jump up and hit it with her nose sending it off in another direction, boy, did I get a lot of exercise. Matese was a big girl weighing in at 17 lbs, she had a long snout that suited her body size, she was great at hitting those balls, thing is, they went either to the right or the left, never straight to me. She was such a fun dog, I miss her every day.

Hahaha, it's the eyes and yorkies know they can cast a spell on you with their eyes, especially that stink eye look, how can you not resist lol. After many yorkies I learned their eye secret and the spell they cast upon us.

The trick is Do not look into their eyes lol :ladywinks

Well, yes, and I have tried not to, but....Piper WILLS me to look into her eyes and then I'm a completely happy goner, if you will!!!

Joey will bring it and put it in your hand, and Penny will bring it back and sometimes put it in your hand and sometimes play tug with you, Ollie will not he will get his toy and go somewhere else with it lol. Dixie hasn't gotten to that point yet. Callie used to play fetch outside with my dad for a few rounds and then get her toy and take it back in the house through the doggy door lol. Joey will play fetch with himself with the ifetch toy if no one will play or gets tired of playing because Joey never gets tired of playing fetch sometimes you have to cut him off.

You have quite the little canine family, Taylor; unique little monkeys all and each one precious! You and yours must laugh a lot, I'm thinkin'!! Wonderful.

I couldn’t resist, I gave Dexter an early present. It looks like a smiling emoji. He’s not put it down since. Ever give your baby more than one toy at once?

Oh they definitely keep us in laughs :D sometimes I enjoy just sitting and watching them.

Don't ya just love it when they just love a new toy and play and play with it. Makes my heart smile.
I play fetch with two squeaky toys, drives Cody nuts lol, he doesn't know which one to go for, the one I just threw or the one in my hand lol.

Aww, so cute.

That's one thing Cody doesn't do, he sleeps in bed with me, he never brings any toys to bed.
Once in the day time he took his hoof on the bed to chew, I praised him like crazy to let him know, it's ok to bring stuff on the bed, what the heck, it's his home too.
