Speaking of lnowing the time. Duchess knows when it's noon. It's when we go for our walks everyday. About 15 minutes before noon, her whining starts. The only time she doesn't do it is when it's bad weather like rain or snow.....little stinker

I leave kibble and water out at all times. I have potty pads out for emergencies during the night. Mia doesnt wake me up at all. Ive never had a problem with her over eating. She is crated with an opening to a doggy pen with potty pads. But as soon as i get up she is ready to go wilddddd.

I never noticed this problem with any of my Yorkies as I've always had a backyard and anytime they would seem to grow restless or impatient, I'd just let them out, which always seemed like a holiday to them. Never saw a toy breed so energized by the outdoors!

AMEN!! Piper can be wiped-out from a 2 mile walk, but if I open patio door to her backyard she's out like a shot! You are so right about them being energized by the outdoors! Too funny.

Yeah, the backyard cured most of my Yorkies' typical complaints, anxiety or restlessness. Never had one that didn't just bolt in ecstacy out that door!
