|  Please help! Hello I just got a new yorkie 1/11/20 a little girl I had a question the mom had 3 pups 2 boys that came out black and tan but the girl however came out like a dark brown what color will she eventually be as an adult?

|  Well it depends we’re they full bred AKC registered puppies? Is her nose brown? If yes to both of those they she is a chocolate yorkie. My chocolate yorkie is now 2. Here are some pictures of him.

| Assuming they are not mixed with another breed because full bred traditional yorkie puppies are born black, over their eyes the hair color is brown, they look like baby Rottweilers. Looking at the color of your new born I would say it is a chocolate yorkie. Chocolate yorkies have brown noses. Your puppy is now appox. 3 months old, we could better tell if you could post a photo of what your puppy looks like now. I have attached a photo of a traditional yorkie new born and a chocolate new born, also a photo of an older chocolate yorkie puppy. 1st photo is bigger chocolate puppy. 2nd is 3 choc.new born puppies last is traditional new born yorkie color.

Also when they are in the teething stage some yorkie babies ears will be floppy but usually straighten up when teething is over, just saying. As for her color as an adult, some yorkies saddles remain black, face, head,legs are a tan color. Some yorkies black saddle turn a grayish color, face, head,legs are a tan color. You will have to wait and see what color she ends up as, but, some yorkies saddles keep changing colors for years, they can go from a salt and pepper color to silver, back to a darker grey and so on. My guys saddle is grey, but keeps changing to salt and pepper to various shades of grey and he just turned 9 years old. Just giving you a heads up for the future if you see color changes, it's normal. Enjoy these puppy days, although they may be stressful at times, they grow so quickly, so have fun with crazy, zooming baby.
