| ![]() Has anyone used JustFood for Dogs? My friend recommended the company as she uses their prescription food for her puppy. She says her yorkie has improved on it. With all of Thumper's issues I was thinking of switching him. He is bored with his kibble. The food is human grade so seems to be better quality. I was looking for reviews if anyone has tried it. I emailed my vet to see her thoughts and will discuss it with her at his next Vet appointment on Sunday. It is very expensive so I only want to switch him if it will make a difference. The cost for Thumper would be about $250 for two month supply. https://www.justfoodfordogs.com/vet-support-meals I am looking at the Heptatic and Metabolic diets. The Vet at the company suggested the Metabolic diet would be better because of Thumper's Cushing Disease. Thumper had another episode of pancrititis last night. I am just frustrated that when I think we are getting handle on things he has another episode. He is ok today and resting. I am keeping on eye on him that he stays hydrated. Waiting for him to poop again to see what it looks like.

| ![]() I have not used Just Food for Dogs. Finding the proper food for a pup that has pancreatitis issues is stressful.

| ![]() They are definitely going to eat better than me. The cost is around $250-$300 a month for the two of them. Don't know how I am going to afford it but willing to try anything for my babies

| ![]() I wanted to try their food but the shipping was crazy so I haven’t tried it. I have thought about the do it your self kits but those aren’t prescription. My boys are weird anyway though they prefer dry food. I hope you find something that works. Hopefully your vet has him on pain medicine because pancreatitis is extremely painful.

| ![]() Just a thought but have you thought of working with balanceit.com for a custom prescription food you could cook yourself or even just looking into a vet nutritionist to help you put together something you could home cook? It would probably be cheaper.

| ![]() Thanks for the suggestion I have thought of it. But honestly I hate cooking. It's just not for me. I work long hours and the thought of coming home to cook or spending my weekend prep cooking does not appeal to me at all. I am going to try this food out and if it does not work maybe that is the way I have to go but I hope not.
