Joey is a huge hand nudger. We actually taught him to lift a persons hand by capturing his habit and saying lift. If you ignore him nudging with his nose though he will then use his paw and his nails can get you sometimes.

You are right our babies have short lives and they need lots of love everyday. If I am sewing Kinder will jump and hit me in the leg when she wants attention. She also will sit and stare a hole through me. I always tell my husband here today gone tomorrow make sure she gets love all day and everyday. Susan

My Tibbe would throw cute behaviors but very quickly demand his way with a little threatening growl in that cartoon voice of his, snort, stamp his forefoot, even bark a bit but finally he'd just muscle into my lap, even if it had a laptop in it or I was sewing or stuffing a handmade teddy bear! He was determined enough to push it to one side and I'd let him just to see how far he'd go and we'd finally have our loving session, followed by a romp or nap, whatever he wanted. He always got whatever he wanted even if it took him 5 minutes to get me there. But finally, I learned just to give in as soon as he asked as that always made me happier than whatever I was doing anyway and having lost Yorkies before, I knew each time was evermore precious and over far too soon.

When I'm asked to list "Head of Household" I'm always tempted to list Gidget. :):)
