| Tricking Thumper with water Per my other post Thumper is refusing to drink water because he is not feeling well. I tried everything to get him to drink and nothing was working. I even topped water with Parmesan cheese to entice him I was standing there trying to think what to do and I decided to put a pinch of shredded boiled chicken at the bottom of an 8 oz water water bowl. Thumper loves chicken. Wouldn't ya know that did the trick. I was able to get him to drink 12-14 oz in an hour. I am going to give him another bowl right before bed. I was so proud of him as I was afraid of dehydration. Will keep doing this until he feels better. He thinks its a game bobbing for the chicken pieces

| After Cody's surgery he wouldn't drink water, I boiled a boneless chicken cutlet, when it was cooked I added a table spoon of the broth to his water and he drank (his bowl holds one up of water). If pieces of chicken in his water works go for it, but don't give him a full bowl, if he drinks to much water just to get to the chicken he may throw up from to much water.

| You might want to try and mix some pedialyte into the water. They make a clear unflavored one and that will help restore his electrolytes better then just water.
