What kind of puppy scam is this? This one has me confused! Why are they emailing a breeder? Wouldn't they have to send money? Ok scam busters: give me some good stuff to write them ;) I had thought about..."I got puppys. What you want Mister?" :D The email: Hi There! I am interested in a having a Yorkshire Terriers Puppy purchased from you and needs you to advise and direct me on the available puppies with you as well as the purchasing procedures. Will be waiting to read from you soon. Warm Greetings. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yahoo! I wouldn't answer the email at all.....delete it asap! |
I put a litter in the paper and it went online also. THAT my dear was my first approach by a sammer.....tons of them came in. The way they will try to scam you is by offering you WAY more than the asking price and saying that you need to cash this RIGHT AWAY into your checking account and send THEIR shipping agent the extra money to come and pick up the pup and deliver it to them. I REALLY jerked this guy around! I let him go on and on and send me the money. It was interecepted by our government, but he didn't know it. I told him a friend of mine was already headed that way and that I gave the pup and the extra $2,000 in cash to her with his address. I told him he was paying WAY too much for that short of a distance and told my friend just to keep like $300 of it for her fee and give the rest to him because he was getting ripped off by his shipping agent! HA HA HA!!!!! Oh my gosh! It was sooooo fun! |

Yeah, he was like "WHAT????!?" I said "what do you mean WHAT?????!? Didn't you get the puppy?!!!!? That was like a week ago that my friend left with that puppy and I haven't heard from her since! Have you talked to your neigbors? Maybe she took it to the wrong address! Oh my gosh, I hope your puppy is ok!" Meanwhile, I totally knew he wasn't in Washington DC, but WAS in Nigeria! |
In light of what we have all been a witness to lately regarding the scammers who stole Kimberley's pics, i think i'm gonna send them a "response".... ;) What is the name of that place where you report internet crime? |

They can't do anything to them since they are in another country.....only try to stop the scams by intercepting the money exchanges. However, let the government know so they can be on the lookout for that particular name and area incase it isn't one they are already watching out for. |

And Kim, I've learned to pick up on these things. It's in the wording. It always is. This isn't the first one of these I've received; just the first one I've shared. You would think that if they want to continue to scam the american people, they would ATLEAST learn to speak our language correctly so that they could do a better job at it! |
Here's what I sent: while LMAO Warm greetings to you! I have many many puppies available. What do you want? A boy puppy? A girl puppy? A champion puppy? A healthy puppy? I have puppies with good looks and I have puppies with ugly looks, but very very fun puppies even if they are a little ugly. Can you provide a good home for the puppies even it they are ugly puppies? How many puppies do you want? ----- Original Message ----- From: Orville Bilious ; Orville Bilious To: rs321@yadtel.net Sent: Sunday, January 22, 2006 3:54 PM Subject: Puppy Hi There! good job Robbie LMAO The wording is key identifing a scam. I dismissed the one I received until you posted. I had no intention of responding because it was obvious no breed was named nor interest explained, one for the spam folder! |
Puppy Scam Busters!!!! Back At It Again...Taking Out All Scammers and Scammer Defenders!!! |
Lol, there needs to be more of us out there who are willing to jerk these idiots around! I think that if everyone who recieved these emails jerked them around like we do, they will just give up! Just remember, never give out your personal info or numbers! I give fake names, they also would ask for pictures of my family, so I would send them *OBVIOUS* pictures of BIG celebrities like Britney Spears :D They will buy ANYTHING! They would also try to send files, and every time I would just say they didnt work WITHOUT opening them. Totally harmless. I also would send them a voicemail number if they asked for it. You can get these free online, without using your real phone number, and its basically an answering service that has no ties to you. They dont eveeeer know! I also loved this link: www.419eater.com You also dont have to wait for someone to email you, Ive taken emails that friends recieved. And just say that you are willing to sell them your $2000.00 horse or dog or something. |
BTW, would you mind if I used that scammers email addy to have a little fun with? |
I was watching Judge Judy this afternoon, and she had a couple on that had fallen for this scam. She had gotten the check cashed at a place where she regularly does business, and the check cashing place was sueing to get their money back. You should have heard Judge Judy going off on the couple for believing an email with such bad grammer. It was an email that someone had printed off and put in an envelope and handwritten the address on it. Judy went to town on these people! |

April, you are soooo right! I didn't give a real name to them. The only thing they have of mine is my email, which they had from the start anyway. I may offer them my motorcycle tomorrow and see what they say! |

Hee Hee, go right ahead my dear! And don't forget to keep us posted! ;) |
I know that scams are such a huge problem, but how do you weed out people who don't speak English or speak English poorly? I mean, my grandmother sometimes types like that when she is rushed. Just wondering :) |

I understand  People who really wanted puppies would want to see photos of pups & parents, know weights and temperment, pedigree, genetic tests, registration, etc etc etc hmmm maybe I should start scamming people; I'd know JUST what to say! (just kidding!!!) |
