| Freeze Dried Food Does anyone use the freeze dried food for your furbabies. Any pros and cons? |

| I have used it occasionally as treats. I think Stella and Chewys is the best because they take A LOT of safety measures.

| I don't know any pros to a food that is freeze dried that would sufficiently counteract the fact that freeze drying does not kill bacteria. Go to: www.petdiets.com and click on Ask the Nutritionist and put freeze dried foods in the search box Click on "click to view answer" on the questions presented about freeze dried foods That site is run by a veterinary nutritionist and she does list her sources!

| My biggest gripe with most freeze dried foods is how insanely high in fat they are; and as an owner of a dog who has had pancreatitis with a breed like Yorkies who are prone to it, I tend to avoid mostly for that reason even for healthy dogs.
