Don't know if this will work for you, but sort of inch-wormed my way into cleaning Katy's eyes. When she became a senior, her eyes needed more frequent attention. Eventually, it became a daily affair.
It took a time. I started out just rubbing the back of her nose with my finger. When I found something loose by her eyes, she would left me knock that off--but she'd immediately move away from me. She did gradually let me use a damp cloth, later a cloth and comb(s). Still, each time I finished, she'd move away. |
