Is this a good price for pet insurance 2 dogs $100 deductible 90% reimbursement no routine care $63.62/month total for both dogs Company is PetsBest being offered through my employer Whats covered Accidents or Illnesses that result in: Accident & Illness Exam Fees Rehabilitative therapies Alternative therapies - such as, but not limited to acupuncture, chiropractic, laser therapy (some limitations may apply) Emergency visits Hospitalization and surgeries Rx medications (see formulary) MRI, CAT and X-ray Specialist care Outpatient care Medication injections Lab tests AND: Cancer treatments Hereditary and congenital conditions Whats not covered Accident and Illness policies do not cover pre-existing conditions, or preventative care items like vaccinations or deworming – these items are considered routine care. Pet insurance is for the unexpected, and covering pre-existing conditions as well as future issues related to pre-existing conditions would significantly raise premium cost for everyone. |
I have healthy paws and for my younger two (Callie has way to many preexisting conditions) it is $54.00 and covers just about everything yours does. I would say yes but I don't know if I ever feel like I know enough about pet insurance. |
May I ask what your deductible and reimbursement is? |

i gave up my pet insurance because they denied every claim, I honestly feel they try to get out of most things. but i do remember there was differnt reimbursements for specialists as oposed to regular vets |

I have PetsBest for Emma and felt that the price and coverage was comparable to competitors such as HealthyPaws, Embrace and Nationwide. Every claim that I've had to submit has been paid and nothing was challenged by PetsBest so I'm happy with the service provided. |
