WE LOST!!! beauty eyes of the beholder 4 Attachment(s) the dog that came in last yesterday WON TODAY... we were the most perfect dog yesterday and the least perfect today :( Male judge put up handlers all day, tomorrow's another day. Buster strutted his stuff beautifully anyway!! |

awww thanks he had a rough morning he ate and got his bath, we get to the show I take him out of his crate, he had thrown up all over the crate and himself, so thank god they have bathing areas there so back in the tub he went poor little man...but despite it all he looked beautiful and preformed beautiful...what more could I ask for! As I said tomorrow is another day:) |

I'm so sorry! Hang in there though. Judges have always amazed me. It's like they don't even have the same book to judge with. I think that's what burns so many people out of showing and breeding show dogs. But you have a gorgeous little boy - keep at it and you will make it because he's a doll. Best luck.. |

yes the judges change daily each judge has the look they prefer. Some like coats, some like faces, some like color, some like god knows what. Some are known for only liking handlers others perfer owner/handlers. Its a crap shoot, as I said beauty is in the eyes of the beholder each day. I am anxious for tomorrow....a very nice outcome is I have been welcomed with open arms invited to lunch yesterday and today with some very very nice show/breeders throughout the northwest, a very unexpected treat:) Fun thing was everyone was agasp who won! |

Don't worry - you are doing great! :thumbup: :thumbup: :love: He is still young and I could tell from some of the photos that you are competing against some older males - with full - longer coats (since they are older). You are so right about the judges. They are all different and look for different things - this is why it is such a gamble. You will have him finished before you know it. Good luch tomorrow. T. |

That's right! Prayers and crossed fingers for tomorrow. And hopefully you will get a judge that is looking for his look tomorrow. Judges are human, too, and they all have what they think is perfect in their minds eye. Just like we are here, they have differences of opinion. They have the stndard to go by, but they also have their own likes and preferences. It can't be helped. But your Buster is so close to perfect he can't help but get his CH in front of his name soon. :good job: You're :number1ri in our eyes. |
