| Geez, Now I'm Feeling a Little Itchy! I don't know if anyone else is experiencing canine with allergies, but this year Piper has obvious systems of discomfort...licking, biting feet; vigorous shaking of her head...I've taken her in for bath every week for last three weeks which helped, but not enough. Today I called my vet and she told me to get 4mg Chlorpheniramine and give Piper a 1/4 tab every 12 hours and let me tell ya, big big relief for both Pipe and me (maybe me even more cuz our little ones suffering--even a little bit is tooo tooo much, yes?!!). Piper didn't show any odd behavior from this medication--not overly hyper, not overly drowsy, just more relaxed--finally! Piper is around 6 yrs old and weighs about 9 lbs. Just wanted to share a possible option to ask your vet about for those of you who may be experiencing seasonal allergies with your little ones. Piper relaxing, not biting feet and no head shaking! Aaahhhh |

| I'm glad Piper tolerates the antihistamine. That really put our little girl to sleep. It was so effective at putting her to sleep I joked I should use that for air travel rather than the meds our vet gave us. I hope you both rest easier now! |
