I just love your willingness to save these pups; you have a very generous, compassionate, kind spirit and I think your capacity to love is as big as all outdoors! I don't have experience in owning more than one dog at a time, so am not of much use here; however, I'd say the majority of people on this sight have more than one dog and they'll provide you objective, honest reasons why it works and/or why it doesn't! You little softie, Dana--and that's wonderful thing!! |
I went from such sadness & tears with the first 2 photos to the biggest smile & happy tears with the 3rd photo. What a transformation - all from the love & care YOU have given this little guy. You are an amazing Yorkie mom & your little guy is is going to change into the most amazing Yorkie. Thank you for giving him the love & chance he so deserves. God bless you. |

There are much more worse cases than Henry .. I wish I can help them all .. At a point I stopped following my local shelter and rescue accounts on IG so that I can see no more .. Plus the happiness and joy I'm having seeing Henry recover Is un believable .. This little guy opened a door ❤️ |

Dog Henry is a precious yorkie. I know the Lord sees all and whoever abused that little fella will reap what he sowed. May that person never have a day of peace and never have the awesome love of a dog. God will take charge of such cruelty. Bless you for taking this precious dog and loving him. |
Oh my ! just seeing this & all I can say is WoW. THANK YOU ! for saving this poor sweet little angel. From the 1st 2 pics it looks like he may not have made it much longer. This poor little guy was seriously undernourished & unhealthy, not to mention unloved. In pic #2 he really looks very week & ill but then you get to pic #3 & he looks like a living doll, so full of life & you can just see the LOVE in those little eyes. Henry is ADORABLE & so very lucky to have YOU. It sounds like he has very much attached to you & it's not surprising as YOU saved his life. With his being so young, I think he would do well with a puppy sister. I am so glad you saved him & so is Henry. Oh & Welcome to YT !:wavey: |
Getting Henry a sister would be awesome, rescuing another baby would be awesome. Henry having a playmate you will see another side of him, a playful and loving side. At one time I had a pack of 3, all females, they are now all passed. My heart would swell with love watching my girls all play and wrestle, nothing more entertaining then watching babies playing. I have a rescue boy, feels so strange having one lil guy lol. I say .......go for it, rescue the little girl and see a happy, playful Henry. |

I agree a feel that I picked him at the last minute .. I don't think he would have survived longer .. Thank God 🙏🏻🙏🏻 I'm seeing improvements every day now except " separation anxiety " he never leaves my side .. And panics when I leave .. but we are working on it , I'm convinced now to welcome another little one .. And exited .. Will update .. All the best Dana |

I am so happy you are considering rescuing the little girl, you will NOT be sorry. |
oh my... just reading this and Henry's story is heartbreaking. I think you are his hero to save him from sure death!!!! I know it is hard... these little pups take almost as much work as a child. We are their whole world and that can be overwhelming to many. I know you are doing what is right and the love he returns will be payment plenty!! I wish you the best. |
"Dogs love company. They place it first on their short list of needs." -- J.R.Ackerley I think you're making a loving, safe haven for a couple of blessed little pooches. And I think you're creating a very loving, fun, close, caring family...May God bless you and yours always, Dana! |
