Most vets don't tell you how dangerous it is to have puppies out in public before their shots are finished. If mine did go out to places like that they stayed in my arms and not on the floor and it was just a run in to the store to pick up an item. Mine are now regular's at Lowe's though and I get talked to about my puppies and asked where they are and demanded that I bring them next time I go. The cashier's at Lowe's love my doggies, but they are 14 months old and fully vaccinated. |
I don't go to Pet Smart or other pet stores very often. I have found sites online where I can get better quality products for less money. But the few times we have stopped in we have always see young puppies being dragged through the place. Personally, I am very cautious about taking my dogs out in public places especially where there are other dogs. I can only think that vets are not informing their clients about the dangers out there. Even with immunizations there are new viruses out there that can easily be picked up where a contaminated animal has been not to mention fleas! Those little puppies look so scared and are often shaking. Probably have not been away from their litter long. It's just so sad. |
