looking for a teacup doll face yorkie puppy breeder 1 Attachment(s) Hello I am new to the forum I have 2 yorkies One baby teacup doll face 7 years old and a 19 year old standard teacup yorkie. I am looking for a puppy so that for my 7 year old has a playmate. :aimeeyork |
Teacup and doll face are adjectives used by disreputable breeders. There is only one breed of yorkie. Regular yorkie. The size, weight and hair type varies but there is only one breed. |

Are you in the UK? If so, try the Yorkie Club of England | The Yorkshire Terrier Club | or Kennel Club: The Home for Dog Owners and Those Working with Dogs: The Kennel Club also, do some research on why those phrases you have used are associated with bad breeders so that you're educated when you get your next Yorkie - if you need more help - let us know! |
Teacup etc These words are mainly used to get more money for the pups as they are more desired by some. |
Yeah just so you know "teacup" and "dollface" are the equivalent of cuss words around here. If you leave those adjectives out of your vocabulary, you'll get a lot better response in general. Take a look around the site and read some of the posts and you'll get an idea of why pretty quick. Other than that , welcome to YT! |
The Yorkshire Terrier Club will list breeders they consider reputable and would be a good place to start your search. You might consider talking with some folks at a dog show. Often people who show and breed Yorkies will have puppies or an older Yorkie they have shown and has had a litter and they would like to place it in a pet home. Good luck in finding a healthy pup for your home:D |
Your baby pic above is absolutely adorable!!! |

Hope you don't get ripped off..and hope you don't get a sick puppy...ESPECIALLY for the puppy's sake. People wanting something "different" is the bain of our beloved breed. |

Excellent information!! I think I can safely say I agreed overwhelmingly with 99.9% of what is said! Excellent, informative, accurate...not published by obvious "haters" of breeders, trying to push out their own agenda....Excellent reference material, a MUST READ for anyone looking for a puppy and a breeder, especially with all the people buying from "puppy mill breeders" that are nothing more than scoundrels, thieves, and liars, off loading poorly bred puppies, on poorly informed consumers....a crooks dream!!!! Kind of like buying 24 K gold chains out of a car trunk in a parking lot at the gas station!!! To bad you can not post this in the margins of the YT site front page....so no one has to spend 30 seconds looking for it...it is "forever, permanently engraved in the margins" for anyone that is looking at the site for any reason!! Maybe like my navigation thingie in my new car, before you can pull up anything on that screen, you have to read about safety concerns, when and where you can and can not use the screen, etc.... This should be MANDATORY READING Ann!!! |
