I know we're all cheering over the poop - yay! In the future if she's ever constipated a little bit of canned pumpkin, just pumpkin not pie filling works wonders. It helps to move things along, and also works if they have diarrhea, so it's an excellent thing to have in the cupboard. I had one that was on many medications and the canned pumpkin was our savior for months. Usually works within a half hour. |

TY! I'm such a boob I never thought of using ice cube trays - I was bagging it in the food saver bags as I a whole can is ridiculous amount. This is a great idea! |

At least you were saving them in bags! I thought I was being ridiculous by feeding 3 spoons of the pumpkin and then throwing out the entire can because it'd go bad  and then a coworker suggested it to me and I thought, duh! Of course! Recently because Scottie got sick, I made no-salt chicken bone broth for him and froze them in ice cube trays :( Apparently no-salt bone broth is supposed to be really good for re-hydration and nutrients while they're on chicken/rice/pumpkin mush. |
